Abstract
Bronchiolitis is considered one of the main causes of hospital admissions in the pediatric population around the world, since this is one of the main causes of pathologies of the lower respiratory tract. The pathology can be diagnosed by observing the infant and auscultating the lung fields through a stethoscope; however, if the patient presents a more serious condition, it is necessary to perform other more specific tests. Drugs are not normally used for its management, but its treatment is mainly based on support measures. The prognosis of this pathology is very good and it is not usually associated with serious health complications.
