Abstract

The solitary pulmonary nodule is documented by radiological studies as an opacity of less than 30mm, which can be secondary to multiple pathologies both benign and malignant. Due to its clear association with risk factors such as tobacco and the risk of malignancy, it is essential to give an accurate diagnosis and adequate follow-up to the patient. International guides are used to reduce the number of unnecessary examinations and give more autonomy in the management of this pathology
