Resumen
La anafilaxia se define como una reacción alérgica grave de inicio rápido causada por la liberación repentina de mediadores de mastocitos en la circulación sistémica y que puede causar la muerte. La causa más común en los niños es la alergia alimentaria. El diagnóstico de anafilaxia se basa en criterios clínicos y el tratamiento médico de primera línea es la epinefrina intramuscular.
