Abstract
Preeclampsia, is part of the neurohypertensive disorders of pregnancy, characteristics due to the presence of proteinuria plus arterial hypertension during pregnancy, in addition, it is associated with high maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Some risk factors predispose to suffer from this disorder, and therefore, an appropriate clinical evaluation must be established for each patient, in order to identify the preventive measures that have been obtained through studies conducted, with the aim of reducing the incidence of preeclampsia, in addition to reducing its negative impact and the final perinatological result. Different management, mainly pharmacological, are used in patients with this disorder, which depend on the final results of tests to be performed.
