Abstract
Menopause is the point in a woman's life when she has not had her period for 1 year, due to loss of normal ovarian function. Changes and symptoms may begin several years earlier. Menopause typically occurs between 50 and 51 years of age. As long as the ovarian´s function are sufficient to maintain uterine bleeding , treatment will be not required.
