Abstract
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a metabolic endocrine disorder that affects between 5 and 7% of women of reproductive age.The diagnosis is ussually made in late adolescence.The disease prevalence on this life stage is unknown because symptoms and signs usually overcome the physiological changes that characterize this life stage.
