Abstract
Thoracic actinomycosis is a condition caused by the bacterium Actinomyces israelli, reaching 30% as a form of presentation, generating tumors at the thoracic level with slow and chronic growth, which should be considered as a possibility for clinicians and surgeons. The following is an example of a 59-year-old male patient who required surgical resection at the thoracic level, in addition to antibiotic therapy at the General Hospital of Mexicali.
