Abstract
Erectile dysfunction is an increasingly common pathology worldwide, whose cause is in most cases of multifactorial origin and the main affected are older patients, mainly those over 60 years. Its management requires education, treatment of associated comorbidities, psychological, medical or surgical therapy, depending on the presence of an inadequate response or contraindications. Referral to a medical specialty is necessary in some cases as well as close monitoring to monitor for pharmacological complications.
