Abstract
Preseptal cellulitis is the infection of the soft tissues of the anterior portion of the eyelid, which is limited by the orbital septum and does not compromise the orbit or ocular structures. It is usually a mild condition that rarely leads to serious complications, it occurs more commonly in children than in adults.
