Abstract
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is the most common syndrome of endocrine disorders in women of reproductive age that affects approximately 6-10% of women in reproductive age. it is a disease of multifactorial etiology, comorbid in many cases with obesity, diabetes, depression, etc. It manifests clinically with hirsutism, insulin resistance or menstrual irregularity / subfertility). For its diagnosis it is necessary to exclude other pathologies that cause disorders of the menstrual cycle, excess of androgens, and meet at least two of the following criteria: oligo / anovulation, clinical and / or biochemical hyperandrogenism, polycystic ovaries by ultrasound. The treatment must be comprehensive and individualized.
