Abstract
It is described as impaired attention, cognitive level consciousnessor. Alteration of brain neurotransmitters, inflammatory conditions and medications are processes that are highlighted in the development of delirium. The three types of delirium are hyperactive, hypoactive, and mixed.Neuroleptic drug treatment is chosen, the most accepted of them is haloperidol.
