Abstract
A case is presented of a 33-year-old female patient with no known pathological history who presented with an acute episode of sepsis. Additionally, a chronic history of low back pain associated with recurrent episodes of urinary retention was documented. Computed tomography revealed the presence of a large pelvic mass compressing and displacing the surrounding pelvic structures. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of high-grade spindle cell sarcoma. Following a multidisciplinary evaluation, it was concluded that the lesion was unresectable, and a decision was made to initiate palliative chemotherapy with ifosfamide and epirubicin.
