Resumen
El trastorno por déficit de atención / hiperactividad (TDAH) es una enfermedad que afecta tanto a niños, adolescentes y adultos en todo el mundo, la cual ha sido mal diagnosticada por la falta de dominio de los criterios diagnósticos y por la ausencia de estudios de laboratorio. Presenta una etiología multifactorial y con mucha frecuencia está asociada a otros trastornos psiquiátricos. Este trastorno afecta de manera importante la vida del paciente, por lo tanto, su estudio y manejo es primordial.
